Generalist's also has the option to pay double MP cost to Imbue the spell, at which point Burst spells do more dmg than Bloodmage's built-in spell. ![]() Generalist's Robes, on the other hand, does not have a built-in spell, but boosts Burst spells (multiplicatively) by slightly more than Bloodmage, while costing slightly less MP. Bloodmages also boost other spells by +50% (additively). Each Bloodmage comes with a built-in spell for that element, which is the most powerful spell in the game. Bloodmage armours are currently available in the following elements: Fire (no GGB needed but Guardian-only, when it's available from the Void Rotation) and Water, Ice, and Light (from UR GGBs). The options are between Wizard Robes (usually Generalist's Robes), or one of the Bloodmage armours. It's recommended that Mages run at least one spell-boosting armour. If you beat the enemy by at least 100 LUK / Initiative, you guarantee that you act first. Optional utility: Whispering Raiment trained at least to Class Level 5 for the +105 Initiative to increase your odds of acting first.
